MCMD was there:
Hearts and souls worked together in building a room for a needy family
As a part of its goals, the Maysan Center for Media Development believes in charity work, and to rally all those who are ready to pitch in any activity in this respect.
MCMD contributed in building an additional room for a needy family in the Al Mahafeef poor district. The father responsible of the family was unable to complete building the room because of his financial circumstances.
The whole house comprises of this single room with a roof which was on the verge of collapsing.
The roof was made of old wooden beams that were rotting as a result of rains and different climate conditions. Consequently, the dilapidated walls were unable to hold the beams and the whole structure was giving in.
A number of volunteers –mostly from the same district- donated sums of money despite their poverty and some even pitched in with MCMD in the re-construction work.
MCMD thanks all those who pitched in this charity work through their donations or voluntary work which shows the solidarity of people and reflects the kindness of hearts and souls.
