MCMD was there:
Hearts and souls worked together in building a room for a needy family

As a part of its goals, the Maysan Center for Media Development believes in charity work, and to rally all those who are ready to pitch in any activity in this respect.
MCMD contributed in building an additional room for a needy family in the Al Mahafeef poor district. The father responsible of the family was unable to complete building the room because of his financial circumstances.
The whole house comprises of this single room with a roof which was on the verge of collapsing...more

Al Maymounah kindergarten needs your help:
Once upon a time a kindergarten
Rehabilitation and re-building needed for restoration



Instead of bright colored walls and happy children playing on the premises, a depressing scene confronts the beholder in the Bara'em Kindergarten’s once upon a time buildings.
Sadly today, the buildings are left to the wind, and are all in dire need of rehabilitation and re-construction.
After the downfall of the despotic Saddam regime in 2003, the Kindergarten was taken over by a number of non-government entities, however, these groups soon evacuated the location. ..more

A new and innovated method which cuts the need for laborers to accomplish the task on hand.


To a landmine Zahraa lost her right hand and a part of her right foot, leaving her an invalid deprived of eye sight, hearing, and talking, and transformed her into a special needs case beyond description.
Maysan Center for Media Development accompanied Maitham Al Fartousi, Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee at the Maysan Governorate Council, along with a medical team to assess Zahraa’s condition and find ways to offer medical care and treatment for the landmine victim...more
