As a part of its goals, the Maysan Center for Media Development believes in charity work, and to rally all those who are ready to pitch in any activity in this respect.
MCMD contributed in building an additional room for a needy family in the Al Mahafeef poor district. The father responsible of the family was unable to complete building the room because of his financial circumstances.

Instead of bright colored walls and happy children playing on the premises, a depressing scene confronts the beholder in the Bara'em Kindergarten’s once upon a time buildings.
Sadly today, the buildings are left to the wind, and are all in dire need of rehabilitation and re-construction.
After the downfall of the despotic Saddam regime in 2003, the Kindergarten was taken over by a number of non-government entities, however, these groups soon evacuated the location. ..more
